We are home again at least for a week. We had a great weekend in Utah. We got to see Joels play which was wonderful and then we gotto help him move into his new house. That was fun too. It was nice to see it finished the last time I saw it , it had no walls. I was so proud of his play. It was so wonderful. It was so funny. We got to see 5 of our 11 grandchildren and next weekend we will get to see 2 more. I have not been home for a weekend all month long and Thanksgiving will be the only one I will be home this month. Oh yes I guess I will be home for my birthday. If I can be patient enough I will try to post some photos.

Home again Home again
Here is a picture of Joel and Julies house it is so cute and the back deck is really neat. I wanted to take a picture of their view but I forgot. We really had a very good visit and we had a most excellent flight. We left right on time from Arcata and came home right on time. It was just fun, fun, fun. Thank you Marinda and Joseph for making the trek with 4 kids. I think we had a good time. We are sorry we did not get to for to the Swiderski reception but we are looking forward to the one here in Crescent City in December.

New member of the family
While we were in Riverside for Beverly David looked in the paper and found his new dog, We brought him home to Terrie's during the luncheon and left it to the family to help name him. He was the smallest in the litter and he is a little bony but he is just cute and we love him already. Joseph came up with the Name of Zeus, it seems to fit him well her is a picture if I can get it to work.
Bad news continues
September 30, my last post I told you about my Mother in law and how ill she was. She lasted exactly 31 more days. She passed away in her sleep on October 31, 2008. What a good mother she was. I will miss her more than I can say. I did not always agree with her but most of the time she was right. I am so glad that I sent David to Portland to see her when she came for Erica's wedding. It may not have been the best idea as she got ill and ended up in the hospital for 2 days.
She had her last Chemotherapy the day before she died. The nurse was leery about giving it to her as she was so weak, but she got the OK from her doctor. She was determined to live. But someone else had something in mind for her and she is now in heaven being of service there. I know she is. Here are some pics of the luncheon after the service. Well I cannot get the pictures to come up but here is the flower arrangement we got for her, the other picture is of her and Terrie before they came home from Portland. I will get on the phone with my Blog Guru and try to do better. Heard from Jared last night it was 9:00 in the morning in Iraq but 10:00 at night here it was great to hear his voice. Thank you Matthew Spencer for talking me through some of the idocycrincies of Iraq it eased my mind a lot. It was very good to see you Patrica and the Kids at Beverly's funeral. Thanks again.
