Vacation sans Husband

I just got back from a vacation without my husband. I had a great time. I was so happy to get home but I really had a restful time. I made a plan back in December to to to the Road to California quilt show. I stayed with my sweet sister in law Terrie and my Mother in law Beverly. We went to the quilt show and I got my picture taken with Eleanor Burns and she signed a bag for me I had fun I spent lots of money and got some good bargains and looked long and hard at a lot of quilting machines. One of the first things I said to David was that we did nothing he would have been interested in, He said well he was glad he did not go. We ate out a lot but we had such fun. The quilts were beautiful and I could have spent a lot more money. I was able to see my nephews make bears at build a bear it was really fun but Casey's bear did not need a cell phone. I will publish pictures when I get them downloaded we got to see some nice antiques at the show in San Diego and Terrie got some good bargains there. We were so happy. I got a birthstone ring and I really love it. David said "I want to go see my Mother" but he did not make a plan. I had such a good time. I have already made a plan for next year and I am going to bring my friend. She is mad she did not come this time. I thank you Beverly and Terrie so much for having me it was really fun. The moral is make a plan!!!!!!

It sounds like you had a great "all girls" time. Are you inspired on a bunch of new projects? I'm finally finishing a quilt I started before even getting married. I'm not letting myself start any other projects till it's done!

It was great seeing you and Gramp at the wedding. I hope we get together sometime again, especially since I live close to Beverly and Jared now.

Check out my new blog: modernfoodstorage.blogspot.com. Yes, it is the only blog I have, but I do have a website. You can email me at modernfoodstorage@gmail.com and I will send you the address for my family website.
