Good news Bad news.

Well lets get right to the bad news Grandma Beverly has metastatic cancer to the liver and the bone. This is very bad. Bone cancer is real bad but liver cancer is worse and according to her PET scan at least 2 lobes of her liver are involved. She has hot spots on her spine and hip and is having a lot of hip pain. The good news is that she is going to fight. She will start chemotherapy tomorrow and it will go for 3 weeks then they will check her again. Her doctor is telling her that it will not cure her but it could give her more time. She is having hip pain and is on strong pain medication, but she is determined to go down swinging. She told me when we went to Las Vegas she thought she had bone cancer but I kind of poo-pooed her because she has such bad osteoporosis I thought It was just that acting up. I will keep you informed about what is going on but you might want to be prepared and to remember her in your prayers. While you are praying you might send up a word for Fred Wagner he is having a hard time right now. He has a major infection in his good leg. and his blood sugars have been going up and down so badly he went back to the hospital today with seizures that could not be controlled. Dad started Physical therapy today and I guess it went well he did not complain much. Today was payday and we actually got paid. Things are good in Crescent City for your poor beleaguered parents. Gramp is doing well. He will be 89 on November 24 th keep that date in mind. I will post a few pictures after we get back from Redding Renasisance faire this weekend.
